I use xp with SP 3.
I never used all the features with creator 6 other than making copies of cd's and dvd's. Basically, easy copy 4 replaced the other software.
Has anybody run into this problem?

Conflict Between Easy Cd Dvd Creator 6 & Easy Dvd Copy 4 Won't work together

I have been using Easy cd-dvd creator 6 on my hp pavilion laptop without any issues. Today, I installed EASY DVD Copy 4 on my computer. Shortcut icon would not respond at all. When I Clicked start/programs/easy dvd copy 4, it kept crashing. I uninstalled both roxio software, then reinstalled easy copy 4. that solved the problem.

You shouldn't have more than one Sonic/Roxio burning program on your computer. They tend to conflict, as you have found out.
You did the right thing removing the old version 6 and reinstalling Easy DVD Copy 4.
