I've just upgraded to Toast 8.0.5, running on a 2.33 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBookPro running 10.4.11.

I've recently returned to a wireless connection between my TiVo Series 2 and my laptop using TiVo Transfer v. 1.1.1. I've transferred many shows to an external hard drive before using this arrangement. I've just TiVo transferred four hour-long shows. The transferred shows appear in my TiVo Transfer Library under the heading of "TiVo Recordings". I can play back the recordings I've made from my computer.

The problem is that the transfers didn't go to the external drive that's specified in my TiVo Transfers preferences. They're somewhere in my computer, but I can't find them. I've manually searched through my laptop and my external drives. I've used Spotlight with all the keywords I can think of.

I can't figure out where the little buggers are hiding! I know they're on my laptop because my "available" hard drive space went down the appropriate amount.

Anyone have any ideas about what nomenclature Roxio may have used to identify these files? Or where they might have physically gone? The TiVo customer service people didn't have a clue.

I have sent a request for help from Roxio.

Thanks!

Just select one of the files in the Tivo Transfer application window, then right-click (or control-click if you have a one-button mouse) to see the contextual menu. One of the choices is Reveal in Finder, which opens a window in the Finder showing the folder containing the transfers, and selecting the file.
