Creator Wont Install

bought a new lap top i have xp installed on it installed  and all my other programs with no problem to my laptop, when i install creator 6 the  laptop will not start just goes into safe mode  after i go back and uninstall it everything goes back to normal did not have this problem before  on my other computer ,tried to see if there is a free dowmload to upgrade it or a new driver i dont know why this is happening has this happened to anyone else or is there a remedy without buying something new so i can use it. HELP THANKS angelo       unsure.gif

What OS are you using?

You could also have problems with IE7 and WMP11 if they are installed

FWIW I have v6 on my XP SP3, as well as IE7 and Win MP 11.  Without tempting fate... I can say I haven't had any problems.  Only recently I got an error message (from AVG, not Roxio) when trying to instal AVG 8.5 Free antivirus, to upgrade from 8.0.  This seems to have been fixed by a patch given by one of the experts here.  See the Clash with AVG thread.

Other that my Roxio v6 has worked throughout all software additions and changes.

Might be a clash with something else?
