For resolving the DLA Driver incompatibility issue, there are two patches: one for retail customers, and one for Dell.
What would be the difference?
I have a Dell Dimension system, and installed the retail version of the patch. Have I lost anything? Can I install the Dell version of the patch over the existing patch?

I don't believe there's any great difference. It's just Dell provided a patch for their customers, as did Roxio.

If you installed the "retail" patch and it has removed the driver incompatibility, then the job is done.

I blame it all on Global Warming / Global Cooling / Global Staying the Same  [pick one]
