Installed EMC8 on my new Dell laptop with a DVD burner, and now the DVD hangs with all CD/DVD discs. I can uninstall EMC8 and the DVD works correctly. I have uninstalled all Roxio LE software that was preinstalled in the new computer, except the Sonic Encoder. Does anyone know if the Sonic Encoder is causing an conflict with EMC8; maybe the encoder is included with EMC8?

You may need to do a repair EMC install afterwards.
