I have uninstalled and reinstalled EMC7 after having big problems with DVD builder not "responding" from the Videowave production section. I built a "slide show", went to the file to go burn a CD (DVD builder) and got the above error message.
Now here's the thing, when I go directly to DVD builder it works but then will not recognize the already built file with the suffix.dmsm.

What can I do?

Michael

Did it used to work ok before now, or is EMC 7 a recent product you've installed?

What operating system are you using?

If Vista, EMC 7 is not compatible with Vista.

If XP, did you install any updates since it last worked? Are you using IE7 and/or WMP 11 (both will break EMC 7)?

Larry - I had used this EMC many times and it worked fine...hadn't used it in a while and when I tried all this started--I have an older PC with xp-professional-- perhaps as a EMC 2009 user you could tell me if that program can make the same type of CD video slide shows like EMC 7. I was thinking of finally up grading.

How do I know what IE version I am running?
