New install of EMC8 from retail cd on WinXP Home with all updates.  Build 805B56B; the update download will not install on this late build.  The install uninstalled EMC7.5.

All components start except MyDVD8, which fails with the message:

"The certificate file is missing or has been corrupted. Please re-install it."

Also installed (pre-EMC8) is SONIC Digital Media Home v7 with MyDVD 6.1, which fails when asked to edit a video file.  This is a pre-existing problem (EMC and MyDVD never did play well together!).

Any ideas on how to make MyDVD8 work?
