Uninstall/reinstall. Make sure you have a lot of free space on your system drive, that it has been checked for malware and has been defragged. Make sure you have your anti-virus shut off (not paused) when you do the reinstall.

Are we making progress? In the first post, it seemed like you could not get he program to run and now it runs except for burning to a DVD? Is that correct?

Do you have PhotoShow? What version? Do you have a DVD burner? Can you burn anything else to a DVD? Does Windows recognize that you have the DVD burner?

Look at "My Computer and navigate to hardware manager. Do you see your burner listed as having DVD capacity? Is there a yellow exclamation point next to it? Uninstall the burner and then reboot. Windows should reinstall it so that it is recognized. If Windows doesn't see the DVD, read this thread.

How old is the burner? It may be the piece of hardware that needs to be replaced. What brand of blank DVD are you using? Store brands and Maxell are known to be problematic.

What computer do you have? How much free space? When was the last time you checked for malware? Is your anti-virus up to date? When was the last time you defragged your hard drive?
