I have the full version of Creator 9. I am using XP Pro.

I got my movie pretty much completed and decided to see how it looked with Auto Motion. I Selected All and enabled Auto Motion on my entire movie. At different steps I also Saved the movie.

I am not satisfied with the effects of Auto Motion and want to remove it from my movie and use the Advanced choice for Pan and ZoomThe Auto Motion overides the Advanced choice. I highlight a picture in the movie. I click on Pan and Zoom Editor. I click on Preset and click on the None from the drop down box. I then click on the Advanced tab and make my selections for Pan and Zoom and click OK. When I play my movie the Auto Motion overides my Advanced choices.

I am unable to find a command to turn the Auto Motion off.

Thank You

When you said you are using Creator 9, do you mean EMC 9 or Creater 2009?

I've moved your post to the EMC 9 forum.

You should be able to just click on Manual and then move and resize the red box to indicate where you want the motion to begin and end. This should override the AutoMotion.

Karri,

I have discovered something I don't fully understand. When I preview my movie in Storyline using the little green arrow which allows me to select the starting point the Advanced choices do not work. They are overridden by the Auto Motion. When I use the Back button and review my movie in full screen all of the Advanced choices are there and working. I will continue using the Advanced feature and in my future movies refrain from using the Auto Motion unless I am sure it is what I want.

Thank you for your help

I can't reproduce your inability to change from Auto Motion to Manual P&Z, in either Storyline or Timeline views. Also, I don't understand the bolded sentence above.

When I preview the movie in either Storyline or Timeline using the littl green preview arrow all of my pictures showed up as Auto Motion. When I clicked on the Back button and viewed the movie in full screen from the beginning all of the Advanced choices I made were there and working perfectly.

I then tried saving the program and rebooting the program and my movie my Advanced choices were there in both Storyline and Timeline. Strange?

No, I think I do remember there was trouble with Pan and Zoom refreshing after making changes in v9 (fixed in C2009). I think malatekid had a workaround for it v9, IIRC. I'll try to find the post.

Edited to find Jess' post (here)
