Unless you have a sight impairment, turn off the caps.  It's considered shouting.

If you are using  VideoWave (Edit Video - Advanced), click on the Timeline tab and delete the caption on the audio track.

If you want a caption to only show on a certain photo, put it on the internal track.  You should get a prompt to do so, when you go to add text to a photo.

Sorry for the caps !!   I'm using MyDVD 9 and I did the internal track to add the caption, that's why I can't understand why the caption is showing up like that.

Does it show on the internal track of the 2nd photo?  If you have a transition between the 2 photos, the text may bleed through the transition.

How long does it show on the 2nd photo?

You can shorten the length of time, of the text, on the internal track.  Open the internal track, go to the end of the text, "grab" the end of the text and slide to the left.  Click done.

I've also had this problem a few times - I've found to correct, delete all text & start from scratch on each photo.  Make sure you are clicking the "internal track" only & not "entire production" tho.

No, when I click the internal track on the 2nd pic the txt then disappears, but when I click done it comes back.  I removed the transitions from between the pics and it still shows up.  The txt stays on the 2nd pic for about 20 sec.    It's just so confusing the way it skips a pic and then shows up.

It may be stuck in the proxy files.  In Video Wave, go to the top menu and select tools, options then click on the clear proxy files button.
Also make sure that when you are looking at the internal track of both the first and second images, that you have the all the tracks showing.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I think I've realised what you are doing & how to solve the problem!   Are you adding the caption/text via an edit in MYDVD?   This results in the text on one frame staying on the next etc - which is what you seem to be describing.

If you go into VideoWave direct, open your project from there - then add the text on each frame - it should ONLY be on the frame you want.  Save it in VideoWave & then go into MYDVD to open & burn it.
