Last weekend, I was doing a complete backup of my computer...hours and hours...using Backup My PC Deluxe (I can't figure out which version, but the latest copyright date on the About screen is 2004). The external hard drive died just about an hour before the backup would have been finished. It's a complete loss....but the incomplete backup90315.qic file is on my new hard drive. Backup My PC, however, won't open it. Is there any way to restore some of the files in this .qic file? Is there a service that will retrieve them? Some I can replace, but many I cannot.

(It was hard to find the proper forum for questions about Backup My PC, btw.)
