Cannot Copy Dvd Toast 8 Error 108 On Macbook Pro

Hi
I am trying to copy a dvd of a tivo recording I made. I open the program , I choose disc copy, I insert the disc I want to copy, in this case 27 dresses dvd-r which shows up and then I click record and get an error message "could not record the disc because there was not enough memory" error 108, yet I have 96 gb available on my hard drive. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? I also posted this in toast 8 as I couldn't fond this forum till just now
