Updating my AVG (Antivirus guard) to 8.5. Tells me "bug that (among others) can cause problems with AVG 8.5". Gives me Roxio web page link to update.

Product came preinstalled from DELL, Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 5 basic .  Several years old obviously at this point.

Looks like no upgrades available.  Are my only options to repurchase Creator 9 or another vendors product?
I make CD's or DVD's maybe twice a year.
