How are you trying to burn the disc? Data Disc, Data Disc - Advanced (Creator Classic), or some other method?
What are the options set at?
How are you 'checking' or looking at the disc to see what data is on it?
What is the ID string of your drive and what kind of discs are you using?
Getting error or any other kind of messages? What exactly are they?
Some details like that are needed before anybody can offer any ideas.
