Hi,

I am a very unsophisticated computer user and hope someone can help.  I was having trouble copying documents from my C: drive to a CD using the "copy" function in the file.  A technician from Geek Choice installed Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum.  I was then able to copy to a CD just fine.  But yesterday when trying to copy about 18 Word documents to a CD, I kept getting an error message saying that I couldn't copy until something called"Roxio DirectCD Kernel" had finished.  This went on all day.  I didn't knowingly activate this "Kernel" and how do I get it to finish so that I can copy to a CD?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

LoriJ

P.S.  I don't know if it's proper here to ask for an email reply, but it sure would be appreciated.  My email address is xxxxxxx.xxxxxxx, xxxx

First remove your email address, (spammers).

It would appear you have placed a cd in your burner that has been formatted (by DirectCD).
Use a disc that comes right of the packet/spindle.

ogdens,

Thanks for your reply.  I'll try using a new disc.
