Creator 5.2 Basic

i had roxio easy cd creator 5.2 basic installed on my computer when i bought it .has been working fine up ti now. now when i try to recdord a cd i get the following message   " there are no supported cd recorders available and so on ". i am using windows xp on a dell computer. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the roxio program but that didnt help??????????????

What version of Internet Explorer do you have installed? What version of Windows Media Player?
I.E.7 and later versions of Windows Media Player are known to kill ECDC 5.

What is the Drive ID of your burner as shown in device manager, and the exact version number of Easy CD Creator as shown in the Help > About this software ?

Most importantly, what changes or updates have you made to your system software between the last time Creator was working fine, and the first time it refused to support your recorder ?

I blame it all on Global Warming / Global Cooling / Global Staying the Same  [pick one]
