I'm creating a project in videowave (emc9) that uses 11 video clips in mpeg-2 format best quality for dvd playback (all under 30 seconds). As I preview in video wave, everything is fine. When I encode (I have tried both hardware and software rendering), the end result is that I get the video and no audio or I get the video and audio that is badly out of sync with the video clip.
This happens if I output to mpeg video using videowave or to .iso file using MyDVD.
I have a Windows XP Media Center SP2 pc (fully updated with patches)
4gb DDR2 RAM
Intel core2duo CPU @2.13gh
200gb free disk space (defraged yesterday)
ATI x1650 graphics w/512mb and fully updated drivers.
I'm frustrated and against a deadline. I need help to know why this is happening and how to fix it.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Where did you get the video clips?
What camera?
What is the audio stream (use g-spot to find out).
Do you have a full version or an OEM that came on your computer?
Do the clips play OK using VideoWave?
Do they play OK using WMP or other player?

Thanks for the quick response.
The video clips were created with videowave. The source was captured mpeg2 video from a disc shot by my local cable access outfit.
The audio stream is MPEG-2 program stream (1 aud 1 vid).
EMC9 is a full version.
The clips play perfectly in videowave and wmp 11.
Thanks in advance, Jke

Any chance that they put some kind of protection on it? OOS issues could be caused by the original file but the loss of the audio totally is not expected.
I have no idea why you would be having this problem. Sorry, perhaps someone else has some ideas.

No, there is no protection on the original video.
Thanks for trying.
