Hello,

"Roxio Creator Plus - Dell Edition" certainly isn't Easy CD Creator 4 or 5, so your question won't be seen by the right people in this forum.

Would you tell me what the version number is please, so I can get your message shifted to the right area?
Run the program, go to the top toolbar Help > About this software, and tell me what version number is displayed?

Thanks

BENQ DW1640, in XP Pro and Windows 7

I blame it all on Global Warming / Global Cooling / Global Staying the Same  [pick one]

Hi Anne and Steve,

Your "Roxio Creator Plus - Dell Edition"  looks to me like a very old, cut-down version of Sonic RecordNow! I hope the person who devised that name for it got his marching orders during the recent company resizing! I'm a little surprised the software is running in XP-SP3. I deleted the serial numbers for you.

In any event, I'll get the topic moved to the Sonic forum since that looks like the best fit for it. Hopefully someone there can make some suggestions to help you.

Regards,
Brendon

Thank you, Brendon    smile.gif

It's actually a company-wide version still in use......definitely needs to be upgraded......but current "penny-pinching" has it very low on the priority list......

This version was actually working 100% fine without any errors on XP Pro SP3 (a testament to a good product).....but started getting all the errors after I had to re-install the OS over everything......

I'm guessing that a MediaHub registry change/reconnection should take care of it???  Sending the computer back to headquarters for a re-install is not an option at this time.....

Any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!!!    smile.gif
