All support and download,s for OEM versions come from the supplier of the OEM (in your case Dell)

But if you tell us what OEM version of Roxio you have? maybe we can help you in this forum.

Tell us what the problem with cdralw2k.sys is, too. Do you need a new copy of the driver file, or what ??

The version that I have is Easy CD 5 Creator
My computer sent an error report to microsoft they said is was ROXIOS CDRAL (cdralw2k.sys)
My computer is running very slow & it will not stop "talking" and then a big blue screen will come up, and you need shut it down and when you start it back up it needs to send an error report (you have recovered from a major Problem)

Do i need to Delete it and purchase a new version or is there a fix from Roxio for this problem?

The symptoms you describe are very vague. What can you tell us about this error report? Who said it was cdralw2k.sys? Have you had some sort of reply from Microsoft, and if so what did they say?
It looks as if you are running into some sort of conflict, but with what?

I doubt that your computer has been "talking" [?? huh.gif] and running slow and giving you the blue screen for 4-5 years, so what hardware/software have you added / updated / done to it between the time it was working properly and the time it started this behavior?

We need to find out what has been done recently to cause this apparent conflict.

The blue screen has been coming up every now an then but did not know what was causing it. The last 2 times I sent in the error report to Microsoft it came back thiis about Roxio. The only program that I added was Quick Books that is it. And that was installed when we got the computer from dell. We have made no changes to the computer.

If that is all the information Microsoft sent you, then it is a grand cop-out on their part. There's nothing on the Roxio website dealing with this that I can find, and they know you're not going to get any support from Roxio for a program suite that pre-dates Microsoft's Windows XP [which even Microsoft won't support now], so they're effectively telling you to take a hike.

Okay, you're still using Windows without updates, Quickbooks without updates, and Easy CD Creator 5 without updates ?

-What version of Windows are you using please?
-What version number of Easy CD Creator [look in Help > About to find that]
-Are you using the Quickbooks backup to a rewriteable CD system, please?
