Hello,
While I am attempting to process a video file to burn, I get the notice that my video wave has stopped. How can I fix this problem.  it appears at any time during the setup process. I downloaded a free roxio for now to see if roxio is worth the purchase. When this notice appears though, of course I have to start all over. Also how do I add subtitles? Please, can anyone assist me with these problems?

We'll need to have a littler more information about your computer.  Frequent hangs are usually a sign that your video chip/card is not good enough or has not been updated and set properly.

What kind of file are you adding to Video Wave?  Go to the top menu in Video Wave, select tooks, options and then out a dot near software if it already isn't there.

Click on one of the images and select internal track,  Select add text effect., chose the one you want and double click it.  You will have the opportunity to add the text and to place it where you want it.  Read up on TV overscan so you keep it where it will be seen.  Watch this.  You can add the text to a color panel ot to a image.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

As far as I know, Roxio no longer has a "free" or trial version available so I don't know hwere you got yours. In any case, Roxio no longer sells or supports EMC 9 since the latest version is Roxio Creator 2009. A trial version would most likely also have many features crippled.
None of the Roxio versions have the sub-titling feature.
