Invalid Installation error

I purchased Easy Media Creator Suite 8 and cannot get the program to work correctly.  I receive this error message "This is an invalid installation.  Please reinstall".  It either comes up the moment I launch a component or a few clicks in.

It is excepting the CD-KEY and I get no errors during install.  I have uninstalled completely, edit registry etc. and tried reinstalling with all other apps shutdown, anti-virus etc.

Has anyone else had this problem?  I have not heard back from Roxio tech support, it has been 6 days.

I have an HP MediaCenter, WinXP- completely up-to-date,
Pentium 4, 2.8Ghz, 1.5MB Ram,  90GB Free on hard drive.
