Drive Not Recognized

I made a great movie but cannot burn it because the drive is not recognized.  I have tried the patch and the reinstall.

What "Patch" are you referring to?

If it's the v4 PXEngine in the following KB article, then try the v3 one.

Also, the link to the Dell pc you have, doesn't tell us what drives are in your pc. It shows a DVD-Rom drive (which cannot burn DVD discs) as the default type of drive with a DVD or Blue-Ray burner drive being optional. What drive(s) do you actually have in your PC?

Went with your #5 then went to #4.......No luck.   It burns DVD's fine with windows program but wanted to use Roxio to produce the DVDs instead.

#5 is  PX Engine 4.10.28a (updated 7.14.08).

Did you try, pxengine3_00_58a.zip?

And did you try the v3 PX Engine patch I suggested? It works sometimes when the v4 one doesn't.

I will try it when I get back to the computer this afternoon......  Thanks for the info and I will update if it works.
