I Am using the old CD creator Vers. 5. When making labels, ADD Contents will not read my CD info, instead goes to the Gracenote. I burn from Reel To Reel tapes. Winamp is able to read the titles ok, however creator label maker will not add the info. Need help.

Hello,
How are your audio CDs burned? Do you have your track details all filled in and burning dialog set to Disc at Once and Write CD-Text, so that you have CD-text burned onto the disc?
I was just using Label Creator 5.3 a few minutes ago, and on the one CD which had CD-Text Label Creator picked the details straight off the disc. All the rest were looked up and not found [??] on the Internet, so listed as Track 1; Track 2; etc.
Label Creator didn't seem to want to obey my Internet Preferences, and still looked up all my other commercial discs regardless of how I had it set. However it should pick up your track details if you have burned them as CD-Text.
Regards,
Brendon

Brendon, I am using music soundstream, adding the titles and artists appropriately. Yes, sometimes I can add from the CD and other times no way..... guess it is a common problem that was never addressed.

That would explain it, you're using Soundstream and not CD Creator. Soundstream doesn't write CD-Text to the disc, and without CD-Text all you're going to get is 'New Artist', 'New Title', and 'Track 1 . . . .' etc.
To get CD-Text written on the disc with the music you need to burn a music project in CD Creator. There, apart from filling in the artist/trackname details you must have the burning dialog set to 'Disc at Once' and 'Write CD-Text', so that you have CD-text burned onto the disc.
If you want to check for CD-Text on burned CDs, there's a nice tiny player called HACP, which is safe, free, and will display CD-Text if you have it written on the CD. It will also look up on the CDDB site, but only if you ask it to [unlike Label Creator]. It would be worth downloading HACP from here or any of a hundred other sites on the 'net, and checking to see if your discs do have CD-Text written or not.
Of course, the other way to check would be to try 'Contents' in Label Creator
, but HACP is quite independent of Roxio.

Brendon, I am using the Soundstream portion of Cd Creator....is that. When I bring up CD creator it has the different methods of burning and I always use the Music Soundstream.
