Burning Data on a Ridata DVD-R DL 8150MB (8GB)
Problem: Recording stops near the 4 GB point
I can see the data that was recorded so it is recording properly as far as it records.
Computer and Creator 2009 reports the disk is open and has an additional 4GB free but will not record to it.

Yes I set the disk type to DL (DVD 8,5)
Amount of data attempting to place on disk = 7.2 GB
Win XP Pro and Creator 2009 are up to date

Drive: Plextor PX-760A (completly compatable with Ridata DVD-R Dl disk)
(Compateable with Roxio Creator 2009, as stated by Plextor)
Computor, memory and Hard Drive is many times requirement.


And why did they remove so much from Creator Classic? Yes I know many features were added in the front panel but that does not justify detroying a good progrem.

Most people don't have any problem with Verbatim, but I think Ridata is considered a hit or miss product???

Did you try to burn with the disc left open for more sessions? I haven't tried with 2009 but earlier versions could not do that with 'dash' DL discs.

Oh, if you really like Classic this will probably be the last version to have it.
