I did not see a place where this would go, so I am asking here. I am trying to install the driver for my new HP J3680 printer. It is giving me an error message saying it can't go further until I either uninstall or update Easy CD Creator 5. I would like to uninstall it, but it is not a listed program in my add/remove programs list on the control panel. I did a search for the program on my computer and it is there in the program files folder. If there is a free update, I would be willing to do that as I really need to use my printer for work tonight! I was unable to find anything about an update to this software on the Roxio website. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, the best place to have posted would have been in the Legacy Creator area in the Easy CD 4 & 5 section. Not to worry tho, it's been moved there for you.
Updates for v5 can be found here:
http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/ecdc/software_updates.html
Note tho, that they may not help in your situation. Also make sure you get the right updates for the Platinum or Basic version you have.
If the updates don;t help, or you just want to uninstall it, since ECDC 5 is not showing in your add/remove programs, you can uninstall it using the utility called Roxizap that's noted in the post "Pinned" to the top of the ECDC 4&5 forum. Here's a direct link to it also for you:

Thank you so much for your help. I will try to uninstall it now.
I did the uninstall and tried to install the drivers again with no luck. Same error message. Any idea what to do now? Thanks so much!

If you have used Roxizap on your system, then Easy CD Creator 5 certainly won't be there now. Roxizap is much more powerful than even 'Drano'.
What is the exact wording of the error message that your HP printer driver is giving you?

That's a bit strange, Alikatze. I couldn't find that device driver in any of my version 5 systems or any other version until I looked in an old 5.02 in Win98. There, it was PrtSeqRd.vxd in the \Windows\System\iosubsys folder.
PrtSeqRd can't have been important when Roxizap was written in 2003 or Roxizap would have removed it. In any event, I'd suggest you go in there and remove it yourself from where your printer driver says it is - It can't be necessary in your system now everything else Roxio has been removed.
You may need to tell Windows to show you hidden and system files. If you are conservative you can just rename the file to say, PrtSeqRd.old and that will stop it operating. Otherwise, just deleting it should be quite safe.
Regards,
Brendon
