With a D.E. or other cut-down version you really get what you pay for sad.gif

Sorry, version 6 will not work under Vista. There's a lot of earlier software which Vista doesn't like.

Hi Brendon,
Reason why I like roxio 6 because I can edit the song and save it to any file I want like wave file.but the the other Cd Roxio Creator 9.0 De for some reason I cant edit the song and I cannot save it to Wave file.and the reason why I like to save it to wave file or convert to wave file just because I have a software that can only edit and open wave file. is there anyway I can edit any mp3 song and convert it to wave? in this Roxio Creator 9.0 De  software?

Not with Creator 9 D.E. I'm afraid. It is a very severely cut-down version of Easy Media Creator 9, and it has been written so that the most popular audio and video decoders have been deliberately disabled - even if you install them yourself.

This topic has a fuller discussion on these cut-down versions, but the bottom line is that they're just 'teasers' and you need to buy a full version to do anything useful. sad.gif

Sorry.

Hi Maya,

All the full versions of Easy Media Creator have a built-in sound editor which will do what you want.

I can't see any point in your buying the very latest 'with bells & whistles' Creator 2009 version for what you want, but you might well be able to get a proper retail Easy Media Creator 9 [EMC 9] from eBay or a reseller such as Amazon. It should be available quite cheaply out there since it's 2 years old.  Don't buy Easy CD & DVD Burning, because it's a cut-down suite, too.
