Mysterious Errors On 6.4

I burned a project straight onto a bd-rw (no problems)
I then tried to burn the same project to a disc image and I get "as_storage error -97011"
so then I then tried to burn the same project to a Volume and I get "Disc write failure whilst adding ig:\ig_1 The disc burning process was interrupted because of an error or because it was cancelled..."
Any clues would be appreciated

I got a couple of hits on that error by going into the search (top right) and typed in 97011.

Thanks for that but there are no solutions on those hits, just problems...

Something you can try is to slowly remove assets and try to "build to volume" until you get find the offending asset. Make sure everything is elementary streams as DVDit has always been buggy when demuxing stuff...
This is why we miss Scott....

I think one rule of thumb is to try and allot some space to be blank on the disc. For blu-ray's, I've been trying to give at least half a gig.
For me, I could create DVD's, write volumes and images, but couldn't burn blu-ray's. Ultimately, I believe my problem was with the driver of the burner. I know it sounds bad, but roxio's self help on burners not burning is actually pretty helpful. I simply uninstalled everything associated with this process (dvdit-pro hd, cyberlink's burning software (came with burner), and the burner's drivers). I installed the latest and greatest of everything...and knock on wood, it started working after that. Hope this tid-bit helps.
Sounds like you can write ok (meaning all the transcoding is working...so all your video should be fine), but you dont' have the storage space somewhere. I also know that dvdit pro hd stores files in some bizarre places. If you are using mutlipe drives, make sure your root drive and your operating drive both have the space on them. The other error you are getting (man...what a great one...so descript) seems to occur if there is any general error. I have found that sometimes starting over works well (I know it sounds bad...but sometimes its worth it). You should notice folders with the video name and a _ses. This link stays even if you create a new project (I don't understand how or why...just know it does). If I'm getting really stuck, I'll actually delete all those folders and start all over (NOTE: once you delete those folders, you will lose the link to any and all of those videos in any project using them!!). I also like to do some house keeping on the projects deleting any old source files (it will keep them in there renaming them each time). Deframenting may also help.
That's about all I can think of. Let me know how much space you have on your hard drives and if any of this helps.
Thanks,
SB

if yes, then you can burn it after the compile is finished

I could write volumes and images, but I couldn't actually burn (hence why I stated that my issue was with the burning side of things and resolved with a re-install of drivers). I think Lucio is having the opposite problem. He appears to be able to burn the image to a disc, but not write a volume. My guess (and its a wild guess as I don't know much) is that one, he's not deleting temporary files from dvdit pro hd (which can add up quick) and doesn't have enough space on either his working hard drive (where the temp files are being stored) or the drive he's writting the volume too. That is just a guess though.

I am confused by you saying burn to a volume?
you need to compile to a volume, then when the compile is done, you can burn the volume by selecting the folder that contains BDMV and Certificate, see here

No.
When we talk about "burn to volume" it's within DVDit. It will create the files to your hard disk (BDMV folder) so you can preview with a software player or use another program to burn the files to your disc. I prefer doing it this way so if there is a problem i'm not making coasters and I can use Power DVD to test before burning (one last look before burning

Recently, I had the message "as_storage error -97011" when I tried to create an Iso file (.gif), or a volume. First, I did not understand and after a while I found that my blu-ray project (Mpeg2 HD video and audio files, motion menu created by myself, and music for menus...) was too big for my blu ray disc. The real capacity of blu-ray is in fact 23,8GB instead of 25GB and that's why Dvdit pro HD stops. What you have to do it's just to be careful with the size of your project, and you should not exceed 23,500Gb, and everything will be fine. I tried it and it works.
I hope it will help.

Yes, I’m able to burn (write) a column folder, which contains a BDMV folder and a Certificate folder, without burning a disc。 But, I don’t know how to use this folder to burn blue-ray disc within DVDit Pro HD. Please help.
This link, http://www.videoproductions.com.au/64/burn-volume.avi, could not be found. Do you have another link? Thank you very much.
