I bought Toast 10 Pro, yesterday. I ran mac2tivo, it did not immediately come up on my Tivo, but did.
I upload a 720p AC3 5.1 mkv file (42 minutes of video). It took about 38 minutes. The file was 1.09 GB, the upload version inflated to 3.6 GB. When I played it on the Tivo, the sound was PCM 2.0, no surround sound.
I noticed there was a upgrade for Toast 10 Pro and upgraded. I believe the new mac2tivo file upgraded to 1.02.
My problem is the Tivo can't find the new mac2tivo server on my mac.
I thought maybe a clean re install might help, what files must be erased to get rid of my present copy to make a new install?

As far as sound being PCM Stereo. Mac2Tivo converts all sound to PCM stereo. PCM is uncompressed hence the bloat. There is no support for retaining surround sound currently.
As far as a clean in stall you can try removing the following files:
~/Library/Application Suport/Mac2Tivo/MediaData
~/Library/Preferences/com.roxio.Mac2TiVo.plist
That should put the application back into a clean state.

Removing those files, fixed my problem.
Sound like you're roxio tech who follows the forum.
Sad to hear about not suppporting surround sound, but you did say currently. My request it for roxio to support it, else I'll stick with my popcorn player.
It's difficult to teach your spouse how to use all those devices hooked to a HDTV, trying to KISS.

I guess things are not working as I'd like. I can get the mac2tivo manage screen to come up, but when I add the same folder that worked w/ version 1.0, its sits on calculating all day. I tried version 1.0 and things worked like a charm. Is there a bug in version 1.02?
