I am attempting to transfer my music lp's to a digital format, but have had no success. The program goes through all of the steps, and the music plays through the computer speakers, as I'm supposedly transferring the music, but the level meters (left and right) show no activity, and the end results have been empty .wva, and .wma files.
The sound card in my Gateway 600 series laptop computer is the ESS Allegro PCI Audio (WDM). The cpu is the Intel Pentium 4 (the computer is 6 years old), and the operating system is Windows XP Professional.

What application in the suite are you using?.
How are you connected from your computer to your source of music?
More info.
