unsure.gif  unsure.gif  unsure.gif New computer. Roxio Creator 9 pre-loaded. Software tour shows how to create slideshow, edit photos, various other photo options, but only task icons are: Audio/Copy/Data/Tools. Is there someone else who'se has had this problem and If so is it because the software was pre-installed. Is there anything I can do to access the photo/slideshow option?

There is a Roxio Creator 2009 and a EMC 9. Which version do you have?
If your program came pre-installed on your computer then you most likely have an OEM version. This means that your program has some features crippled and/or missing. If you want all features you will have to buy the full version.
BTW, EMC 9 is 2 versions old and Roxio Creator 2009 is the latest version

Thanks my Canadian friend. It looks as if I will have to buy 2009 to solve my problem, but my version is identified as "Creator 9.lnk" do you know what this means?

.lnk is usually a shortcut to the actual program.  If you look there, you will get the properites of the shortcut.

Are you sure that you don't have two Roxio programs on you hard drive?

If not, there may be a video editing program elsewhere.  HP computers have that other program whose name excapes me at the moment.
