Error "unable To Build The Render Graph"

I am trying to render a slide show and I have no idea why I am getting this message: "Error Unable to build the render graph". I made a slide show just as I have many times, any ideas?

You posted in the Roxio EMC 9 forum. So I asume this is the program you are using. Did you use the "Videowave" program to produce your slide show "

If it happens when trying to output from VideoWave, do the following, substituting the EMC 9 location of the file, for what is listed as the EMC 8 location :
