this is the first time that I have done anything with a dvd burner, so I know nothing about this program. I just bought a Dell Inspiron 530 it came with roxio creator DE 10.2 pre-installed but when I opened it it doesnt have any of the buttons for videowave, mydvd just data and cd, would I have to do an upgrade to do dvd's or am I missing something here. I'm not experienced enough to do that clean install I've been seeing on these forums. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Donna

OK, now we have you moved to the EMC 10 forum…
Your 10 DE is junkware and what you see is all you are going to get… see pinned post at the top of this forum.
My advice? Dump the Junk and buy the full retail version. If you are running Vista Creator 2009 will run on your PC.
If your running XP, you don't have a Video Card so none will work.

I haven't played with Vista??? Will WMM go all the way through and burn a disc?
If it will, it would be a good (free) way to dabble into DVD Movie making.
If you like it but want a little more, then you could consider Creator 2009 later. – the proprietary Project files are not interchangeable between any video software but the movie clips are.

no it will make the movie and then it says that you have to have windows DVD maker, which is on premium or ultimate(not basic ofcoarce) I got with microsoft to see if it was avvailable by its self, I've got some thinking to do. thankyou for your time. Donna
