I've recently purchased an Insignia NS-DCC5HB09 from Best Buy which is a 5 MP HD Camcorder that recorders .AVI files on the SD card using H.264/MPEG-4 AVC. I've installed the FFDSHOW Video Decorder software and am able to open the .AVI files in Windows Media Player to view them and Ulead Video Studio 10 to convert them. But when I try to open them using Roxio Video Wave 10, I get the following error:

WARNING
One or more of the files you are trying to add cannot be edited, and have not been added

As I would much rather use Video Wave 10 to do all the work on my files without having to first use Ulead to convert the files to an .MPG then open it in Roxio, (doubling the amount of time it takes to edit and convert my movies), does anyone know of something I'm missing? Like I said, I want to only use Roxio to do all of the work.

I don't have EMC 10 installed anywhere. I know Creator 2009 can do AVCHD either on a DVD (BD Player required) or convert it to make a standard DVD Movie.

Hopefully as the day goes by, someone better versed in EMC 10 will chime in.
