Hello Roxio Popcorn Experts!
I work for a non-profit...we recently had our annual fundraiser and hired someone to record it to video. I am trying to make a copy of this video to distribute to our constituents. I'm using MacTheRipper and Popcorn...following the instructions from http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Burn_a_DVD_on_Your_Mac. The DVD burns fine, but it will not play. The computer appears to recognize it as a data disk, but not a video. Help!?
Thanks for any advice you can give!

It is unlikely you need MacTheRipper. I doubt that source disc has any copy protection. In that case all you need to do is insert the source DVD, choose DVD Disc as the format in Popcorn and choose Save as Disc Image from the File menu. When that is done eject the source DVD and insert a blank DVD. Switch to the Image File setting in Popcorn and select the disc image file you saved. Burn your copies. Be sure to use good-quality DVD media (not a store brand or Memorex). I recommend Verbatim discs.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
