Since you didn't provide any details, like what "freezes up" means, what you were trying to "start up" (the main suite home page or an individual application), error messages (if any) you encounter and their specific text, your system specs, etc.. Then the only suggestion at the moment is to do a clean install of the software.
Make sure you follow all of the outlined steps, and only those. remeber to also make sure you have any antivirus, antispyware and firewalls disabled while uninstalling/installing.
