I see all the different software available from Roxio but I'm looking for one that will allow me to burn as many songs on a CD as Suite 8 does.I have other software for burning, but none of them will allow me to burn as many songs to a CD as Suite 8 will.I would like to konw which one of Roxios newer products will let me burn as many songs to a CD as Suite 8. Thank You.

Tell us what kind of CD your burning songs to? Is it a Audio CD, Mp3 CD and in what application of EMC 8 are you using?
Is your EMC 8 a bought and installed version or did it come free with the PC or a CD/DVD Burner?

You know what steps and options you pick tho don't you? Like clicked on Start -> Programs -> ...  or Clicked on the icon on the desktop, selected the Music or Audio section ......

There are multiple ways to make a CD with audio on it and it can be in a variety of formats. Unless you proved some detailed information, no one here is going to know what you are currently doing.

The software does not determine the number of songs that can be burned to a CD but the the format of the audio you are trying to burn. Getting "newer" software will not have any effect and you other software will burn the same number of songs as does EMC 8.

An Audio CD will hold approx 80 minutes of music, no matter what program is used to burn the disc.  That is a standard formula used by all Audio CD burning programs and Audio CD players.  There is something called overburning which can squeeze an extra few minutes on but most players can't read it.

A .mp3 CD is a data disc with .mp3 data files and a .m3u file that can be used as an indes.  You can also simply burn a data disc without an index.  The number of files allowed depends on how many the reader can read back, altho subdividing them into folders will increase the limit because it applies per folder.

Neither of those standards is related to the program used to burn the disc.

If you like EMC 8, why do you want to change?  Are you changing your OS to Vista?

Life is good!
