Ok I finally got Roxio Creator 2009 running on my laptop since I could not get it to install on desktop. Everything is working fine except for when I try to burn a cd. When I insert the blank cd and hit "burn" it does nothing but lock my computer up, and I have to press and hold the power button to turn off (which I am sure that if I continue to do this it will mess my computer up). I have no problem at all with the cd/dvd drive when not using Roxio. Is there a way to get this working WITHOUT changing anything in my computer system? I am not comfortable going into my system changing things around. I did that with my desktop when trying to install/unistall Roxio and ended up having to do a system restore to get my computer working right.
Thanks

Did you install sp3 for Creator 2009? http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/c2009/software_updates.html
You might want to be sure that your firmware level of your CD/DVD drive is up-to-date.
Are you using an audio CD or just a normal CD? What specific program are you using?
You might also want to try this PxEngine update:
