Morning all,

Before I go do this and blow an expensive DL disc I figured I would ask the professionals here. Can I fit four 115 minute movies on one double layer disc with compression, or would it be better to do 2 movies on one DL movie without compression?

Thanks,
Steve

For best quality, only put  2 hours on a Dual layer disc so only ONE of your 115min movies. Trying to put more than 2 hours will result in higher compression and lower video quality.

115 min movie in AVI format is compressed. If you want to make these into a DVD Video format to play on a settop DVD player, follow ggrussell's advice in post #2. If you want to burn them as a data disc to be viewed on a pc that's a different thing, what do you want to do?

I want to view them on a set top DVD player so I will be following Gary's advice. Thanks for the help.

If your DVD player is able to play DivX files then you can copy the files to a DVD as data files. You will lose quality if you "convert" these highly compressed files to standard DVD format.
