Had to uninstall my Roxio 7.5 media burner and when i went to reinstall I realized I NO LONGER HAVE CD CODE. I bought this for $100 5 years ago and now it cannot be reinstalled. Can anyone help? Is there a generic code that will allow me to install this CD?

Negative, I'm afraid not. Roxio won't help you now either, as the product is years "out of support".

If you did a simple uninstall, you might try downloading Belarc Advisor.  Once it opens, scroll down and you may find it under registered programs.

Remember if you have installed IE 7 or higher and/or WMP 11 or higher, that program won't wonk anyway. And of course, it won't work in Vista.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
