Backontrack Doesn't see my C drive

I've installed BackOnTrack (and re-installed it after guidance from technical support) but the program still thinks that my C drive doesn't exist.

I want to create a disaster recovery image of the C drive, but as BackOnTrack won't recognise it, I can't.

Technical support seem to be struggling with the problem.

Has this happened to anyone else and if it has, how did you solve it?

Regards

You'd have to ask Roxio - this is just a user Forum, and rarely visited by Roxio people - you can recognize them by the Roxio logo by their name.

However, since they are currently only supporting Creator 2009 and Creator 2010, it's quite possible they don't care any more about something this ancient.

Lynn

PS - C 2009 and C 2010 are successors to EMC 9 and EMC 10, and should not be confused with them.

Which version of BackOnTrack are you using? If it's the version supplied as part of Creator 2010 I can get your query transferred up to the Creator 2010 forum, but if it's an old version it will have to stay here with Lyn who has experience up to Easy CD and DVD Creator 6.

I blame it all on Global Warming / Global Cooling / Global Staying the Same [pick one]

Hi,
I just purchased the Back On Track 3 ESD and installed it on an HP Mini running Windows 7. I cannot select the drive to back up because BOT cannot find Windows! I did configure the run as Windows XP compatibility but that does not solve the problem.
Is Roxio selling a defective and unsupported product?

If you "just purchased" BOT, it is probably not the legacy Version this Forum was set up for.

Since this Forum is rarely visited, I'd suggest re-posting your question in General Chat.

As we speak I am running BOT that came with Roxio C2010.
It's running just fine on my netbook running Windows 7.
It created the Recovery disc and is now doing the backup to an external hard drive. No problems so far.

Are you doing the Disaster Recovery or just backing up files?

Either way I can accomplish it on my new netboook with W7.
