When I first found this forum I had spent most of a week trying to figure out a problem installing mydvd8. The first thing I did was find the administrtators and let off a whole lot of anger and frustration. I knew that this was not the way to get any sympathy from anyone. (I have a BA in marketing and management for crying out loud) But I did it anyway. To be honest I felt better afterward but hadn't solved anything. Fortunetly I vented to a guru or two also. Redwagon347 pm ed me back with some helpful advice and a reminder of how to win friends and influence people. Obviously it was too late for me to take back my angry pm's to several administrators. I expect that if I get any response it will probably be to go perform an act that is physicly impossible to do involving my head and my rear end.

While I am still frustrated by haveing a difficult time with this project I want to apologize to all who received pm's from me they were not necessary, I am truly sorry for not simply stateing the problem and waiting to see if this forum can be helpful. I have high expectations for customer service from computer companies. When I could not find a phone number that didn't want more money to help me and the online chat assistance didn't configure and ask roxanne kept refering me to something else I lost my temper. One last time I apoligize .

Nice to see anyone that has the time to come back on these forums and make an apology for words ill chosen.

However, if you still are having problems with a particular EMC program be sure and come back with a post relating the problem, along with some pertinent facts about your computer system, and I'm sure you will get some positive responses. Just remember, those that frequent these forums are users like you and can be helpful as far as program problems are concerned.

For the most part, unless directed personally, the 'usuals' on this forum don't take things personally. However, we feel we can yell back too :)
But, I give you high 5's for coming back and speaking up.
No harm, no foul!

No one here holds you to the comments you may have said in heat.... good to see you back and
"i didn't really mean for you to stick it that far up your you know were... he he he"
Kidding aside, we have all been user like you and we have all had issues...
We keep on trying to solve issues and I'm sure now that you have cooled down, maybe someone can try to resolve the issue you have...
Good on you for coming back... :)

Everyone appreciates your apology.

Lots of people get frustrated when it comes to their own personal projects even when they know better.

I came here to find a solution to a problem with the software that I couldn't solve.

I ended up learning about features that I didn't know existed in the program. I hang out here trying to 'pay it forward' for all the help I've gotten from this forum.

We hope you'll come back and visit even when you don't have a problem.

I am still concerned though. I placed my order on 5-5- 06 and I have been checking my mailbox eagerly but still no backup cd. My receipt has a place for tracking number info but no numbers. I know it was pretty dumb to expect to download this program with 56k. Graduation is comeing soon. I hope when/ if i get to use this program I can pick it up quickly. Ive reduced my project to 12 videos that i need to combine and burn to dvd. Theres nothing else I can do but be patient. Of course patience is a virtue I don't have the time for :)

Well, you could always contact Roxio Sales or submit another web ticket http://www.roxio.com...tactroxio.jhtml

Or you could see if a friend has a high speed connection and would be willing to download it and burn it to a CD\DVD for you.
