I recently installed toast 10, including the update from the internet.
when I run mac2Tivo the icon goes on the dock and nothing else happens. However i noticed that the mac2Tivo app is "not responding" under the "force quit" menu.
Any ideas what causes this?
In case this matters, i had in the past installed Tivo Desktop for the mac. This enabled me to share photos and music to my Tivo, but not movies. i got toast so I can also view my imovie events on my tivo/tv. Does Tivo desktop conflict with toast? (if so, i'm not sure how to uninstall it as i'm new to the mac. the tivo desktop app does not show up in the applications folder).
Thank you.

I am having the same problem. Mac2Tivo opens but nothing happens and it says "Application not responding" in the force quit menu. I can't find any answers on the forum. I see a lot of posts about not getting files to show up on TiVo but I can't even get to the point of opening the app to add files. Have you had any luck?

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Force quit Mac2TiVo, then go into the Activity Monitor and force quit the process called RXTivoServer. Relaunch Mac2TiVo. That worked for me.

This solved my problem where Mac2TiVo worked for a little while (a week or so), then shared programs no longer showed up. Once I killed the process and relaunched, my Mac shared files showed up on both my Premier boxes. I'm running Lion.

Well, it's stopped working for me again. Mac2TiVo appears to be running and I can stop and start the server, but the RXTivoServer app won't run. It seems to launch for a split second, ask me if I want to allow it to accept incoming network connections, but quits before I can even answer.
