I've just purchased a Samsung Super Writemaster DVD Writer (SH-S223Q) and a Mapower Aluminum 5.25" External Enclosure (KC51C1).
I know the software that came with the Samsung isn't going to play ball with my PowerBook G4.
What I'm wondering is this: Will Roxio Toast 9 make the Samsung play nice with the Mac?
I'm no techie. Any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Is Toast The Correct Product?

If the Samsung drive in the MaPower case is recognized in Apple System Profiler as a DVD burning drive, then it should work with Toast.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
