Avi Files From M627 Photosmart Camera can hear but cannot see AVI files.

Can anyone resolve a problem - my AVI camera vids come out black in MyDVD10 Premier software but I can hear the sounds.

HP shows that camera records Motion JPEGS, which may or may not be supported in MyDVD10 Premier (it's not listed as being supported).

How are you transferring those clips to your computer?

Have used 3 methods - 1 - using Photosmart trasnsfer software with USB; 2 import using MYDVD 10 software linked to camera by same USB cable; and 3, direct transfer using SD camera
card slot in PC. All result in same black screen but with sound.

Are you on Vista or XP? Do the ones you transferred via card slot play OK in Windows Media Player?
