I have many old files created with Easy Creator 5.  They are not accessible with my new Creator DE 10.2 on a vista 64bit system.  How can I access and use these old files?

They can only be accessed by the Roxio Label Creator versions up to 10.0.

After version 10.0 label creator was changed, and has lost all backwards compatibility. Version 10.1 and 11 won't even look at labels created by version 10.0.

It is possible to run the Jewel Case Creator from ECDC 5 in Vista, but while Vista will run it and let it save and then reload label files you make with it in Vista, Vista doesn't let it load V5 files which were made and saved in XP. Real strange that, and I can't explain it.

Thanks for the info.  I had hoped for better news, but almost knew what you were going to say!

Yes. sad.gif

Unfortunately the current owners don't seem to see backwards compatibility as a high priority. I would have thought you could sell more new versions if you could still use old projects with them, but perhaps not.
