I purchased the Easy CD & DVD Burning program today at BestBuy.  I am a Kindergarten teacher and I am looking for an easy program that I can use to put the pictures I have taken this school year to music and then gift it to my parents.  This sounded like it would do the job.  I am running a Dell laptop with Vista Home Basic as my OS.  I downloaded the program with no problems and did not seem to have any issues uploading the pictures and music to MYDVD Express.  However, when I go to preview I get the following error message:   .\DSMenuEditCtrl.cpp(536):*** Error 80040154.  If I try to run preview again, I get an error screen, but it is blank.  I have tried removing and reinstalling the program but the same thing happens.

Can anyone help me.  School ends on the 20th and I was hoping to be able to hand out the video on the last day of school.

Thank you

You “download” from the internet – you install from a disc or a file you downloaded.

The error is tied to permissions or a DLL not properly registered.

Uninstall the program through the Add/Remove Programs.

Create a new account with full administrator privileges.

Install the program under that account.

Slap together a quick slideshow and see if it works. If it does, reboot into your account and try it there.

Thank you, that seemed to do the trick.  I have not yet burned a copy, but it is playing wonderfully in preview.  Thank you, again.
