sneakers -

These are public Forums, searched by google and other search engines, which in turn are serched by spammers seeking to "harvest" email addresses for spamming purposes. Since they are in every half hour or so, it's probably too late, but I'd still suggest deleting your email address. It will NOT get you any replies from the volunteers who answer.

Next time you use a Forum, don't post your email address. You are NOT talking to the tech department, or even to Roxio at all.

Giving another example of how to run up your total without helping anyone, eh?

And encouraging other newbies to leave their email addreses for spammers, into the bargain.

Don't be such a shrew, Lyn. We're here to help the customers, not to scold them. smile.gif

The attitude is all in YOUR HEAD, Branden.

It has been my observation that if someone posts their email - and if you look at the first post in this thread, it was done - that first, the OP assumes someone will email them the answer directly because they are speaking to Roxio tech department; and second, shortly thereafter a number of other newbies will see it and assume "oh, I'm supposed to include my email address for a reply" and so they are also exposed to the spammers.

But of course, you want them to get spam, don't you Branden?
