I am trying to upload my edited video to YouTube but having problems and find this program not very intuitive and very difficult to use. I tried all the tools that came with MyDVD Video Lab program and I am having lots of problems understanding the necessary steps to edit and save the video in a file format that YouTube recognizes. I finally used VideoWave to edit the video but it only allows to be saved as a .dmsm file. How can I save the edited video in .MPG or any other format YouTube recognizes?

Does your Videowave program have "output" as an option? I would think it does and that you could then "output" the file in mpg format...

I found it! After opening a Project, under the "File" menu, there is "Output As..." selection where you can specific the file format. Thank you!

Glad you found it. If I recall correctly, youtube now has a high quality option for uploads, so keep that in mind. rolleyes.gif
