I'm trying to back up one of my DVD's and it copied without problems, but as it goes through the burning process, it only completed 99% and now doesn't do anything since 45minutes.
Should I retry or could I have done anything wrong?

Oh, just to give some more info: it's a regular movie DVD, which is not encrypted, and I was using "Copy and Convert DVD-Video".

Have you rebooted and tried it? Sometimes a PC has to have it head cleared out…  

I suggest using an RW disc for testing since you can reuse it.

You could try it with Home app Copy Disc.

You could do it as a 2 Step process with VCC.

Step1 – copy but set destination to File (iso).

Step2 – use VCC to burn the ISO file it created.
