Dvd Burn blue ray on dvd

Is it possible to burn blue ray using dvdit pro hd on to a dvd burner?

yes, but you need to keep your combined bitrate to less than 18mbps

and you need to burn as UDF data DVD and set UDF type to 2.5 (easy with Nero and ImgBurn)
